Programs Woodcrest Offers

Robotics

Woodcrest School’s robotics program engages students in hands-on learning, where they design, build, and program robots in our state-of-the-art STEAM lab for children. Starting in 3rd grade, students develop problem-solving and teamwork skills through exciting projects that bring engineering concepts to life. This program fosters innovation and prepares students for future STEM opportunities.

Computer Coding

Our computer coding program introduces students to programming fundamentals, starting in 3rd grade and progressing through 8th grade. Using their 1:1 Chromebooks, students learn to write code, create simple applications, and explore computational thinking in our supportive coding classes for kids. This program equips students with essential skills for a tech-driven world.

Video Production

Woodcrest’s video production program empowers students to create professional-quality videos, blending creativity with technical expertise. Using advanced software and equipment, students in upper grades produce multimedia content, from short films to presentations. The hands-on experiences in these technology classes help children hone their storytelling and digital media skills.

Cross-curricular Multimedia Projects

Our cross-curricular multimedia projects integrate elementary technology with subjects like science, history, and language arts, fostering creativity and collaboration. Students use tools like PowerPoint and computer graphics to create dynamic presentations and digital content. These projects, supported by 1:1 Chromebooks, enhance learning and showcase students’ diverse skills.
